Speak Today's Scripture Prayer
from Your Heart to the Lord:
"If your eye is pure, there will be sunshine in your soul. 23 But if your eye is clouded with evil thoughts and desires, you are in deep spiritual darkness. And oh, how deep that darkness can be! Matt 6:22-23 (TLB) The dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. Psalm 74:20 Father, my desire is that my soul be full of Your sunshine today. But if my soul is clouded with evil thoughts and dark desires, rescue me today from this deep spiritual darkness on my insides. By the power of the Lord Jesus Christ, today I refuse every darkness inside my soul. I refuse every darkness that has come out of past cruelty done to me by others. I refuse every darkness that has come from past neglect or rejection by those who had charge of me in my childhood. Lord, keep flooding my life with Your light and sunshine, today and always, In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who overcame every darkness by dying and rising from death, Amen. |
